Community Planning Workshops
All members of the university community are encouraged to participate in interactive planning workshops or by sharing ideas and concepts online.
Students, faculty and staff are invited to collaborate with urban planners and designers to share your ideas and give your feedback to develop a vision for GW’s campuses.
In-person workshops conducted in early February were organized by the university for undergraduate students, graduate students, Mount Vernon Campus, and faculty/staff. Links to video of the presentation and images from most previous workshops are below.
To build on the February workshops, a series of online community planning workshops happened during April and July. Participants had an opportunity to share ideas, thoughts, and feedback on updated opportunities for the development of a vision for GW’s Foggy Bottom and Mount Vernon campuses. Each workshop, designed for specific audiences, featured draft renderings and live polls to further discussion.
If you could not attend a workshop, please submit your feedback online.
